Hey there,

I'm Beth a Motion Designer from Ringling College of Art & Design.

Case Studies

This was really fun and interesting. We selected from a pool of around 50 briefs and created various projects for different work scenarios.

Leading us to think through the minds of the clients. In addition, we were also looking at what the studios were creating or current trends in the industry.

Below is a link to some Case Studies I created during my time at Ringling College of Art & Design.

Compositing

My responsibilities for this project were to composite and enhance the 3D Rendering provided by my professor, Christian Huthmacher.

This project was super exciting, the class started with everyone receiving the same files and having to piece together what we had learned. Using the correct AOVs and adding just the right touches to them to create a great composite.

Nuke

To the right is the work I did to the above image.

I really enjoy the pipeline in NukeX. This program relies on being organized and when I learned about backdrop nodes I got so happy to start color coding each section for future projects.

Part of this projects challenge was determining which AOVs to use and which to not use. Then it was making those extra changes with gismos and nodes  to enhance the explosion to look extra awesome.
